It is important for the success of my product that I accurately identify certain characteristics about my segment. Again, my segment is a typical college student, who most likely attends the University of Florida. My prototypical customer can be either male or female, but for the purposes of this assignment I will use a female example.
I developed my prototypical customer on the avatar developing website and it seems that my prototypical customer will likely be a female college student aged between 18 and 22 that wants a delicious, healthy snack. This girl will be focused on her grades a lot, but also dedicates a good part of the day to maintaining her body in good shape. She will workout and eat healthy, to maintain a healthy lifestyle! This kind of girl tends to drive a small car, because she thinks its cute. Certain TV shows this person will watch will be the Bachelor and Big Brother. Most of this segment at this point of their lives do not have children. That is just a little insight into the life of the female portion of my segment.

I have the fact that I am a college student in common with my avatar. It is not a coincidence that I am in college as well, as this is how I was able to understand this need in the market within Gainesville.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you and think that a college female is a good target customer. The açaí bowls that I see around are always with girls eating them. I also tend to see girls taking pictures of them and putting them on social media. If this was the case with your açaí bowls, I think you would be able to get a lot of publicity that way to draw in more customers.
