Opportunity Belief

Beginning point: I feel as though there is a need for an establishment that gives multiple acai bowl options and even a customizable bowl. Describing the need: I came to Gainesville about three years ago, and since then I have noticed a craze over acai bowls. This is a frozen fruit bowl that is topped with other fruits and granola and peanut butter. It was so relevant, especially last year that I had to go try this contraption out for myself. The demand has been so steadily rising that the owner of the establishment on University ave. bought out her contract from the franchise she was operating under and opened her own franchise. However, there is not enough to choose from at this establishment, as an acai bowl is just an option on an extensive menu. Unfortunately, the place is the only place in walking distance from the university. There is a need for another establishment that is totally devoted to selling customizable acai bowls . The need is by everyone who attends the Universi...

My Entrepreneurship Story

My entrepreneurship story is a relatively simple one. I am from Miami, and went to a very selective private all boys high school. As you would imagine, many of my friends parents were extremely successful entrepreneurs. One in particular that had an impact on me was my best friend's father. He was a tycoon in the Miami real estate market. Anything having to do with real estate, he was able to sell you on. He also used many other avenues to secure multiple streams of income. I became infatuated with the fact that he completely determined how he wants his day to play out. Not only did he make a lot of money, but he also did not have to answer to anybody and it drew me in. I would like this class to open my eyes to what exactly I can expect in the every day life as an entrepreneur. Also, I would like to learn about the hardest parts of being an entrepreneur.

Bug List

1) When I get out of class, the line at chick fil-a is too long and I often have to skip lunch why: There are too many kids for only two chick fil-a's on campus. 2) My roommate snores loudly and it is almost impossible to get a full night's sleep why: he needs to get his tonsils removed because they are causing him sleep apnea. 3) In my room, there is no outlet near my bed so I cannot go on my phone at night. why: the architect of the house did not design the room around my need for a outlet near my bed. 4) Getting my car out of standard takes forever because of the amount of people that keep their cars there. why: too many people are parking their cars at standard. 5) When I am trying to get some food for dinner and there is traffic on Archer. why: it is usually rush hour at the time and everyone is driving home from work 6) In my fraternity, the vending machine never gets refilled so I cannot buy a Gatorade. why: the guy who delivers the drinks hasn't resp...
